The Essex Community Tree is a network of partner organisations.

Our primary purpose is to list as many services as we can identify who provide support for people who are experiencing mental ill health and/or related problems. New partners/services are always welcome.

To help people in their search for support, the partners organisations have generously given their time to help us a build a video library for people that find reading stressful. Next to each listing, you will find a short video that will explain the service being offered. Many more to shoot, but we are getting there.

The website visitor has 2 ways to search for services. The first way is to search using I AM LOCAL TO, then I NEED HELP WITH. The other way, is to search by area. Both ways are on the home page. The website will grow over time and there are plans to expand. The website is run by volunteers. If you can, please donate by clicking on the Go Fund Me symbol. Thank you for reading

We have to understand what a CRISIS means, before deciding if we need help, or not. Many people with mental health issues often have to deal with negative thoughts and sadly, this becomes part of daily life. A CRISIS occurs when an individual feels that they have reached the very limit of what they can cope with. Its when the intrusive thoughts become overbearing to the point that the individual may be in danger. Suicidal thoughts and self harming can be classed as a CRISIS. If you feel that you have reached that breaking point, you need help urgently.
